Personality and Abilities

Chibi is a lot like his mother, benevolent, headstrong, kindhearted and friendly...as well as being a bit aloof and sometimes hard to impress. But since he's young he's also more openly affectionate and often needs guidance from others. He loves music and fireworks, but is generally unimpressed by the names that people like to come up with for him. He can't read or speak, but understands others and responds accordingly to them and is generally good at expressing himself to those who can't somehow understand his barks. He's also more vocal than his mother when dealing with others, often barking when he needs to say something.
Chibi is very sympathetic towards people who have problems, though how much sympathy he has depends mostly on the problem and somewhat on the one with it. If it's someone he knows is evil, he may show some pity and help them, but that may also be because in helping him he's helping himself. But ordinary or good people who have dreams, need a hand and he can do it, or who have a serious issue he will want to help pretty much unconditionally, Any thanks or reward for his deed come second to just being helpful. The only time he would willingly abandon a person in need is if that person was in need of something he had to get or take care of elsewhere.
Abandoning people to a terrible fate, like the crew he was forced to leave to be killed by the Water Dragon, doesn't sit well with him and he would never willingly do so. On the same note, he wouldn't like the idea of being too late to help someone who needed him either. He can and does shed tears over this kind of thing, as well as for the deaths and sacrifices of those he loves.
He rarely backs down in the face of evil and hates to abandon those in trouble, or to sacrifice them for a greater good, easily willing to put himself on the line to protect them...but this also translates to him being willing to take damage from a friend if he thinks he can save them without fighting. He is quick to forgive when he knows that there's more to a betrayal than just willful betrayal and acts as support that often creates a strong bond between him and those he becomes the closest to. He works well with others and can think and act accordingly in situations despite his young age, making him good at problem solving when in situations close enough in likeness for him to guess what he should be doing. If he can't figure it out on his own then he will follow the advice of others.
Almost fearless, he follows the "Leap before you think" motto to an extent that could be considered absurd, leaping at just about any enemy or in pursuit of them with no hesitation or running into a fight...which can often come back to bite him because of his recklessness. Even formidable enemies or places of powerful evil cause him little to no hesitation in proceeding. However, he can be intimidated by some people on occasion and is often easily exasperated. He doesn't often run from an enemy, but on rare occasion he will do so if there's nothing to be gained from fighting and nothing to lose from fleeing.
Abilities and Notes
As a god, Chibi has heightened endurance and reflexes, able to take much more damage, dodge more easily, and hit much harder than any normal puppy or adult canine. He also wields the Divine Instruments, a reflector (mirror), rosary (string of beads), and glaive (sword). He has crimson markings, almost feather tufts on his shoulders, and a brush-like tail tip complete with black ink, but most mortal creatures can't see them or his Divine Instruments and he appears to be a completely white puppy to them. The exceptions to this are: "normal" animals (characters who are canonly the equivalent of normal animals, so not ones who take the "human" role for their universe), other gods, magical or supernatural creatures, demons, and spirits. It's rare, but some who fit into the "human" category can see him but these are often those with some kind of spiritual affinity or strong belief in gods. A person who comes to believe who had not been able to see what he is before may also gain the ability to gradually by becoming a believer.
Chibi is the son of the Sun Goddess, Amaterasu. As such he is able to wield the Celestial Brush and master techniques granted to him by the Brush Gods. Since he is so young, these powers aren't as strong as Amaterasu's and he can't wield the brush for as long. If he takes too long in finishing a technique then he has to start fresh, though it costs him no ink to fail. Use of the brush skills acts almost as a temporary pause in time where the world becomes his canvas. Once he makes whatever marks he needs to for that skill, time restarts with the effect activating as soon as he finishes using his "canvas". As a result very few beings can perceive when he does this and only someone wielding a Celestial Brush can actually stop him from using a skill by crossing out his work before he can finish. Everyone else only sees and/or feels the effect of the actual skill, which make dodging them completely almost impossible. He can also use his brush on plain paper or fabric too though, not for skills, but just drawing. He can use some skills in rapid succession by repeatedly using the brush, but can't use multiples on one use. He can also uses them regardless of where he is or in what position. Below is a list of his skills:
Sunrise: The power to summon the sun at will, either because it has disappeared or to turn night to day. He rarely uses this unless to bring back the sun when the world has been cast unnaturally into darkness. But he has used it for simpler reasons like drying laundry for an old lady. There are times when it can fail however, if the powers causing the darkness are more powerful than him, or possibly if it would mess up the nature of that world (e.g. Kingdom Hearts' Traverse Town where it's always night, or Twilight Town where it's always dusk). Activates by him drawing a circle in the sky.
Rejuvenation: A technique used to restore broken or missing pieces of objects. Must either know what the object looked like originally, or be able to fill in the missing area for it to work. Unlike Ammy, who can simply cover the area in ink, he either traces the damaged area of the object or traces what's missing to perfectly fix it.
Guidance: The ability to guide those who are willing to trust him to do so. He draws a line from the one he's guiding to the point they need to be at and they follow it, nothing keeps them from doing so. Once they get to the end. they will automatically know what to do...if something needs to be done at all. It only works one task at a time though. While the line can't be seen by the naked eye, there are apparently some demons in his canon that can sense when it's being used and will attack the guided person. (Needs player permission)
Power Slash: The power to cut through most things, from rocks and trees to monsters. Can be combined with a partner's sword to cut things neither could cut alone. Activated by drawing a straight line through what he wants to cut. When used on living creatures it weakens the more targets the line passes through and is rarely lethal in just one stroke. It seems to be completely harmless on creatures outside of battle beyond causing confusion as to what hit them.
Bloom: The power to restore life to withered plants or to make already existing ones bloom. Activated by circling the plant(s) in question. Can be used with Rejuvenation to restore small patches of cursed ground to their natural state. He did not gain the ability to temporarily sprout trees out of the ground.
Cherry Bomb: Creates a large cherry bomb that causes massive damage to enemies and blows open cracked surfaces. Max is two at a time, but they must be made one at a time. They explode on contact with the target, with a Power Slash, or when the fuse burns out.
Waterspout: Moves water. Activated by drawing a line from a source of water to a specific destination. He also can make it rain hard temporarily in his immediate area with Deluge by drawing two vertical slashes. Max time limit for Deluge is about 15 seconds and seriously drains his ink. No other brush skills can be used until the rain stops.
Vine: Ability to cause vines to connect between himself and an object/partner or between two hooks. Activated by drawing a line between whichever two points needed the vine. The vines reel in whatever they're connected to and therefore can be used for pulling things across distances or to help him cross gaps he normally can't.
Inferno: Control of already existing fire, creating a path of flames from one place to another. Activated the same way as Waterspout. Fireburst can summon a large stationary sphere of powerful flames temporarily to burn the area surrounding it...the bigger the flame for Fireburst, the more ink is used as a result. No other skills can be used until the Fireburst dies out.
Magnetism: Power to control the magnetic pull of objects. Activates by drawing a U to pull objects together or an upside down U to push them apart.
Galestorm: Power to make the wind blow in a specific direction. Activates by drawing a loop to make the wind blow left or right or drawing a spiral to blow straight ahead. Whirlwind summons up to three small tornadoes to surround his body and damage enemies around him by drawing three vertical lines. Lasts about 15 seconds and max time/power heavily drains his ink. No skills can be used until the wind dies.
Thunderstorm: Power to direct a current of electricity from a source to a target in the same manner as Waterspout and Inferno. Thunderbolt drops a damaging bolt of electricity from nowhere by drawing a thunderbolt where it's wanted, electrifying the ground and air around it. Lasts about 15 seconds and bigger thunderbolts drain his ink supply heavily. No other skills are usable until the thunderbolt is gone.
Note: He can only wield his Instruments while he has his god powers (his Spirit Ink). If that runs out then then he can't use them until his powers return. He can borrow the abilities of others who are currently physically connected to him, like being able to see Spirit Floors, ghosts, and such when Kagu is on his back or to see the entrance to the Cave of Nagi only with Kuni.
It's possible that he could inherit other Brush Techniques from Brush Gods he has yet to encounter canonly. These include: Water Lily, the third Technique in the collective Greensprout that lets the user create lily pads that can be used to cross water. Catwalk, which let's the user stick to and climb walls bearing the mark of Kabegami or to leaves the mark on walls and pillars that Kabegami statues appear against. Crescent, which summons the moon at night if it's hidden or changes day to night. And lastly Blizzard, which drags ice from a sours to freeze an appropriate target or create cross-able ice platforms temporarily.
